Our Company

BPR was established in the early 1990s by a family-owned entrepreneurial group active in the manufacturing sector since the 1880s - a century's-old tradition. The business philosophy practiced in all of its ventures from the very beginning embraced, ahead of its time, a double bottom line: social responsibility and sound investment. The need for and adoption of a third bottom line, environmental responsibility, grew out of the care for all life, present and future, and the needs of the planet. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, new ventures were established in the following related areas: 

Bioengineering services, in particular, the use of bacterial technologies for the bioremediation of soils and water.

Water treatment and management services, for the efficient use and re-use of water for domestic, commercial and industrial demand.

The design and manufacture of natural pharmaceuticals, to provide the public with safe and effective medicines.

Charitable education programs to promote organic farming practices and sound environmental stewardship.

Organic and sustainable farming.

BPR Agro grew out of this business environment and with the know-how to provide farmers with effective solutions to aid their needs for healthy productivity and long-term sustainability. BPR stands for 'bio-principled resources,' in the sense that our solutions are life based and take a whole-systems approach.
